Go Groups
What's a Go Group?
A Go Group is simply a small group of 8-10 people that get together once a week to eat, talk about God, life, the teachings from worship, munch on food, hang out together, eat, be a part of outreach, service and mission...and did we mention there is usually food involved?
What's with the word "Go"?
Good question. Jesus used the word "go" a lot in the Gospels and in his teachings. It was an important word to him. We think it's important too. Go Groups spend as much time with each other as they do "go-ing" out into the world around them to make a difference.
"Therefore GO and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" (Jesus in Matthew 28:19)
How often do the Go Groups meet?
Go Groups meet for 9 weeks and then take a few weeks off before they start again. This gives people the opportunity to have a break and be a part of different groups.
Why should I be a part of a Go Group?
Because life isn't a "do-it-yourself-project". Go Groups are a safe, authentic, and healthy environment where people can experience spiritual growth, genuine community, and opportunities to make a difference in the world...for God, for People, for a Change!
